more plugin woes

MediaManager, a piece of beautiful Byrne Reese goodness (now free software!), is unfortunately giving me multiple woes: the new image tag containers aren't XHTML-compliant (no alt text in the <img> tag) and something's getting messed with new adds to the Media Queue. I might have to disable it for the time being.

Scott Swanson [TypeKey Profile Page]:

I wrapped the Books sidebar component into a <MTIfNonZero> tag and used MTSetVar to add a quick toggle at the top of my index.tmpl so I could rapidly enable and disable it. Previously, I had been doing large copy-pastes of code into temporary files. (That was pretty lame.)

I've disabled it for now, pending some research into what was going wrong. The index page is, once again, valid XHTML 1.1.
