admitting you need help

Alright, I need help. If any of you can offer it or know the right person for this, then I'm very interested.

I'm three months behind on getting my new professional website up and running for my metaphysics practice. I can do web site backends — never been a problem — but the graphic design, layout, and other "form" related stuff tends to mystify me and cause me to freeze up. Even when I try to do pretty designs, they come out as utilitarian CSS2 designs or implementations of other peoples' OSWD designs (like for my IMSA site).

My writing champion Syncretic helped me with a graphic design of my "coming soon" page, but even that's now stale. I need something real. I don't have a lot of money with which to pay — I'd much rather exchange with in-kind services (tech or metaphysical) or such — but if need be, I can pay a little. For some reason, I feel as though this has become a blockage in getting my practice moving forward, and thus, I need to do what is necessary to move through that, even if that involves the pain of burning some of my meager resources.

If you are interested or know of the right person for this, please mail me at scott [at] truegeek [dot] org.

Thanks!

Scott, I can come up with a graphic look for you if you still need it. I only do basic HTML, but I can make a decent page layout. I think.
