I've been shooting with a D70 for a couple months now. It is certainly sweet. Expect to spend 1 month learning how to cooperate with its power features and exposure/color trends; the first few weeks of using it turn out a lot of junk. I shot about 800 practice pictures before I really got the hang of it.
But now that I've adjusted it's my bestest friend:

Curse you, Yuki. Now I'm torn and even more likely to spend voluminous wads o' cash on a camera….
I test drove both today at the Ritz Camera at Rush and Chicago. Both are lovely. I'm in pain now.

I want one so… very… badly….
I don't have a camera at all, and it's really starting to kill me. I'm practically tempted to put it above an iPod in terms of desired gadgets. After all, my PowerBook can play mp3s with iTunes. But the best I can do for photos is my iSight, and I can't just snap pictures indiscriminately with that….
