finally getting red snake jewelry

Yes, for all those who have been asking: I am finally going to get a MedicAlert bracelet (or, more likely, necklace). I know I should have had one for a long time now — and sort of had a home-brew version for a bit back in Arizona until it broke — but now that I am on Coumadin I absolutely cannot afford not to.

So, I will be ordering that.

Yes, I will also be updating my wallet info card as soon as I have access to a decent printer again (and can find my medicard templates, which should just require artful use of Spotlight).

Somewhere around 3 months of wearing a medic alert tag, you'll start to notice it being in serious need of washing. Warm water and a tiny amount of dawn dishsoap does wonders.

(I'm allergic to latex, so I've had one for a while.)

Scotts finally going with the bling-bling.oontz oontz oontz

It's a piece of bling that I'm ashamed I didn't notice that you DIDN'T have before now.... what were we all THINKING?!?! =) Glad to hear you're getting back to yourself. *hug* -j.

I've now officially enrolled. We still have to quibble over what they're going to print on the discus, but my info is in the system and they're sending my wallet card. (Yes, I updated my existing wallet card to reflect the coumadin as well. Even put it in bold.)

...I always assumed you had a tag. Dude, what were you thinking?

Oh, and LOVE the myIMSA modeling gig. ;)

*hugs* Thanks for the nice comment in my LJ. Glad to hear you decided on the tags.

The necklace finally arrived on Saturday, and I started wearing it on Sunday. Just wanted to post here to "close the loop" as it were.
